Judicial Commission

On the eve of the 11th General Election His Majesty the Yang Di Pertuan Agong formed the Royal Commission to enhance the operation and management of the Police Force in Malaysia.I don't see anything concrete implemented on the numerous recomendations.

On the eve of the 12th General Election a Royal Commission was formed to investigate "Linghamgate". We have yet to see the results.

Now after the 12th General Election "tsunami" ,the Judicial Comission is being mooted as a way to restore public confidence in the judiciary.

Whatever commissions formed or to be formed will be meaningless without the right people being appointed. Even more so, all these will be mere rhetoric unless the BN government pull up its socks and back up whatever the recommendations that are to be made with political will. I doubt the present government has that.
